My colleague, Leslie Cameron, and I went to Alicante, Spain for the European Conference on Eye Movements. I presented our work on the similarities and differences in eye movements and performance between professors and students when interpreting graphs.
We also took some extra time to play on the beach and explore the Castillo de Santa Barbara.
You can read more about the project at this post on the Carthage College Bridge.
Happy Fall Semester, 2019! I am back teaching Research Methods and Statistics II, and team-teaching the Introduction to Psychological Science course. I also have a new course this year: Sensation and Perception! We have a decent size lab this semester, where we will be working on several projects in visual search and attentional failures in cybersecurity.
Good luck for the new semester!
